Shipping Information
Order Processing
All orders are carefully prepared by our horticulture team within 1-2 business days of receiving your payment. During peak seasons, processing may occasionally take up to 3 business days.
Shipping Methods & Timelines
We offer two reliable shipping options to accommodate your needs:
- Standard Shipping ($12.95):
Plants are shipped via DHL or FedEx with delivery in 10-15 days after dispatch. Recommended for time-sensitive deliveries. - Free Shipping:
Available for orders over $50, shipped via EMS with delivery in 15-25 days after dispatch.
Note: We currently ship worldwide except to certain Asian countries and remote regions. Shipping times may vary during holidays or extreme weather conditions when we may delay shipments to protect plant health.
Our Return & Exchange Policy
Eligibility
We accept returns and exchanges for most plants within 15 days of delivery when:
- The plant is in its original condition
- The root system remains intact
- There are visible signs of life
Non-Returnable Items
Due to their delicate nature, we cannot accept returns for:
- Plants showing signs of improper care (dehydration, sunburn, frost damage)
- Custom or special order specimens (marked in product descriptions)
- Plants that have been planted or altered from their delivered state
- Certain rare cultivars from our Azalea and Acer collections (clearly marked on product pages)
Return & Exchange Process
- Initiate Your Request
Contact our plant specialists within 15 days at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return. - Receive Instructions
We’ll provide customized return instructions within 1-2 business days based on your plant type and location. - Prepare Your Shipment
Carefully repackage using the original container (if possible), including all plant tags and care instructions. - Return Shipping
- For exchanges/store credit: We email a prepaid return label
- For refunds: Customer pays return shipping (original shipping fees non-refundable)
- Inspection & Processing
Our horticulturists inspect returned plants within 3 business days of receipt.
Refund Information
Once your return is approved:
- Timing: Refunds process within 5 business days after inspection
- Method: Funds returned to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
- Notification: You’ll receive email confirmation when your refund is issued
International Customers: Refunds may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your financial institution.
Exchange Policy
We gladly exchange plants for specimens of equal value. In your return request:
- Indicate your preferred replacement (check availability at www.shrubscentral.com)
- For higher-value exchanges, you’ll be charged the difference after return receipt
